It's been awhile...

Just thought I would update those you who check this blog with some new pics of the kiddos.

Happy Birthday Sarina!

Five years ago today we became a family of three!  We celebrated with the Grandparents at our house.

Giants and THE WIGGLES

Forgot to post this earlier...we went to the Giants vs. Dbacks game about a month ago and were treated to a free Wiggles concert.  Its weird because Sarina already does not remember The Wiggles?!

Kindergarten is almost here...

It is soooo hard to believe that Sarina-baby is starting kinder this year.  I definitely understand now how parents have a hard time accepting as their children grow up.  I still see Sarina as a little baby, learning how to crawl, then walk, then run.  How can she big enough to go to the BIG school?!

We spent last weekend trying on and buying school uniforms - she looks so adorable!  Now its time to tackle the supply list!

Pool Time!

We are trying to get in the pool this summer as much as possible.  Sarina literally ask everyday, "Can we go in the pool?!" and now Sebastian looks out the sliding glass door and says, "Poool, Poooool!"  Both kiddos still take lessons and are definitely water babies!

Basketball STAR!

Sarina is playing basketball through the city recreation program this season.  She started out not knowing how to even dribble the ball and now she can almost make a basket!  It is so great to see as part of team and enjoying exercise.

 

The Circus!

Darren and I ran a 5K on the 4th of July and one of the perks were free passes to the Ringling Bros. Circus.  Sarina absolutely LOVED all the fancy dresses and the tricks.  Luckily since we didn't pay we didn't feel obligated to stay the entire time because Sebastian was less than impressed.

 

Reid Park Zoo

We travelled to Tucson for the long 4th of July week and had a chance to visit the Reid Park Zoo.  It is definitely not as nice as the Phoenix Zoo and not even comparable to the San Diego Zoo but the kiddos had fun nevertheless.

 

 

Bay Area Trip

This past weekend we took a family trip to the Bay Area to see everyone and Darren ran the Giant Race Half Marathon in San Francisco.  Sebastian had his first plane trip and Sarina had a chance to see her cousins again!  We had a great time but the kids were so tired by the time we came home.

 

 

Sebastian Turns 1!!!

We celebrated Sebastian's 1st birthday last week with a great group of friends and family.  It is amazing that he is 1 now.  Seb is still a little guy, taking a few steps but way more interested in crawling and getting into everything rather than walking.

 

 

Let's Go Giants!!!

We finally made it to a Giants Spring Training game on Sunday.  We had lawn seats and I completely forgot to bring a blanket so we just stood around.  We got the kids some Giants swag and cruised around Scottsdale Stadium for awhile.  Sarina was so excited to get a hat and her foam finger!  Sebastian, of course had no idea what was going on but at least we can say he went to his 1st Giants game.  I personally did not see one pitch or one hit - but it was fun nevertheless.
