I thought I would post of pictures of Sarina's cousin Mirabelle at her 1st birthday party (which was in June) and of Sarina at her 2nd birthday party.

Mission Beach 9/23/07

We went to Mission Beach when we were in San Diego. Sarina loved the sand and the sun but is still a little afraid of the water. I guess we need to keep going back to get her use to it, right?

San Diego - Sept 21-23

Last weekend, we went to San Diego. Sarina got see some camels, elephants, and lots of other animals. I have a picture of myself in front of the San Diego Zoo sign somewhere, I'll scan it in when I find it.

Sprinkler Time!

We finally had a cloudy day a couple of weeks ago so we broke out the sprinkler and let Sarina run around it.

Julia's Birthday Party - Sept 3, 2007

Sarina went to one of her friend's birthday party and experienced a clown for the first time. She was initially scared but then was very enthusiastic. The clown made Sarina a blue balloon poodle.

Alburquerque - Labor Day Weekend Aug. 31-Sept 2

Sarina and I went to Albuquerque for Sharon wedding. Since I was involved in wedding activities, my parents went the BioPark (aquarium and zoo) with Sarina.

Preschool

On Tuesday, Sept. 4th, Sarina started preschool for the first time. We had been talking it up and she seemed very excited at the prospect of starting school. She happily hugged and kissed Darren and me before we left. According to her teacher, everything was fine until the 2nd hour of class when she had a emotional breakdown. By the time we picked her up, she was a little overwrought. The 2nd day was much better.

Sarina had an early birthday celebration with family and friends.

Haircut!

On the same day as the dentist visit, Sarina also got her first "real" haircut at Great Clips here in lovely Maricopa.

Sarina went to the dentist on Tuesday, the 21st. She was quite the trooper. Unfortunately for her, she now has to give up her beloved "pop-pop" and her sippy cup.

A Week of Firsts for Sarina

This week Sarina experienced going to the dentist, having a haircut at Great Clips, and having a house full of people celebrating her 2nd birthday. I will post pictures as soon as I download them!

Capitola

We were also able to make a quick stop at the beach in Capitola, CA (south of Santa Cruz). Sarina did not want to go in the water but we were able to take a quick family picture.

The cousins

On a recent trip to Santa Cruz, Sarina was able to meet her new baby cousin, Sofia. She was also able to see her cousin Arthur again.

Daryl and Elisabeth's Wedding

Darren, Sarina, and I had the honor of being part of Darren's childhood friend Daryl's wedding celebration on July 21, 2007. Sarina dug right in (literally) as she took over the groom's seat of honor and tried to partake in some delicious cake.

Keeping up to date with pictures

Updating our website has become quite an impossible task so I thought I would try the Blogging method of sharing pictures. By using a blog, I can update it from anywhere. If any of you have checked out website, you can see that I haven't added images since Halloween 2006. As events or cool pictures of our family (mostly Sarina) come up, I will add them here. Enjoy!
