The Tara visit

My cousin, Tara, came to visit this weekend. I am sure we completely exhausted her by going to the movies, painting pottery, swimming, and going to a museum. Sarina absolutely loved having her here! Next time we told her she should bring her sister Ava with her.

BBQ at the Crespo's

On July 5th, we went to Pasadena to visit the Crespo family. Sarina got to hang out with her friends, Anna and Bella. She had SO much fun!

Fourth of July 2008

We drove to CA for the 4th of July and visited Tia Alice in her new house in Huntington Beach. On the 4th we walked down toward the beach to watch fireworks. As you can see from the picture, Sarina tuckered out very quickly.

A Couple of Cute Pics

Just thought I would post these pictures of Sarina all dressed up and ready to go to school. Tata Soto and Nana Maria bought Sarina the pink dress in Hawaii and Ajji bought Sarina the polka dot dress.

Sarina has one more month of the 2 year old pre-school class and then she moves on to the 3 year old class. She is growing up so fast - it's amazing!

Beautiful Baby

I snapped this picture yesterday at my parent's house. I know parents shouldn't say things like this about their own kids but Sarina is the most beautiful girl in the world! As you can tell from the picture she loves modelling and getting her picture taken.

Hope everyone is having a great summer! It is only about 115 degrees here but remember it is a dry heat! :)

Sarina the Swimmer

We went in the pool yesterday (since it was a comfortable 115 degrees) and Sarina did an amazing job! We put those floaters on her arms and she swam around the pool all by herself. From the little girl who cried, cried, cried during her swim lesson at the Y to the independent swimmer! I was so proud of her!

I didn't take any pictures but I will be sure to snap some images, maybe even a video this week sometime.

Father's Day

We went to Casa Grande on Father's Day and took Darren's dad to lunch at the Francisco Grande Resort. The service and food could possibly have been the worst we have experienced. Considering the resort used to be site of the San Francisco Giants Spring Training facility back in the day, it was disappointing. Sarina had a good time despite that hanging out with Tata Soto and Nana Maria.
